Vipers have completed the signing of Congolese striker Glodi Beyuku Munsi who is set to reinforce their attack following Allan Okello’s departure to Yanga last month.
Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have officially announced the signing of Congolese striker Glodi Beyuku Munsi, strengthening their offensive lineup for the remainder of the season.
The club confirmed the acquisition on Thursday, February 19, through a statement on its official website.
"Vipers SC have strengthened their attacking options with the signing of Glodi Beyuku Munsi from the Democratic Republic of Congo," the announcement read.
Beyuku, 23, has signed a two-year contract that will keep him at the Kitende-based club until 2028. He arrives from Congolese top-flight powerhouse AS Vita Club, where he demonstrated his goal-scoring prowess by netting 10 goals in the previous league campaign.
New Striker Adds to Viper’s Attacking Options
His arrival is expected to provide a significant boost to Vipers' attack, which has heavily relied on the sharp form of Karim Watambala this season. The club's website highlighted Beyuku's key attributes, describing him as a player "gifted with a combination of pace, clinical movement and brilliant finishing."
Beyuku will face stiff competition for a starting spot, joining a talented group of forwards that includes Yunus Sentamu, Gusto Mulongo, Mark Yallah, Kenneth Kimera, Isaac Ogwang, and Milton Karisa.
Vipers were light up front following the departure of Allan Okello to Tanzanian giants Yanga last month.
