Nabbumba’s move to Denmark from She Corporates was confirmed early this week after the transfer process was completed by both sides.

Coach Rasmus Good Kristoffersen is highly optimistic that Uganda Crested Cranes star Phiona Nabbumba will add value to Danish club Boldklubben 1893.

Nabbumba’s move to Denmark from She Corporates was confirmed early this week after the transfer process was completed by both sides.

Nabbumba was crowned the most valuable player in the 2022 FUFA Women Super League when she guided She Corporate to their maiden championship title.

She was part of the She Corporates team that represented the country at the 2022 CAF Women's Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers where they won silver. Nabbumba was also part of the Crested Cranes team at the 2021 COSAFA Women's Championship and Africa Women Cup of Nations finals last year in Morrocco.

Kristoffersen believes that CV is enough to patch the gaps at B93, as the club is commonly known.

“She has won the domestic league with She Corporate, been voted player of the year in Uganda and played in the Champions League all within the last season,” Kristoffersen told B93 media adding;

“So, she is a player with really good experience from international football that we are adding to the squad and hopefully she will be a player with a lot of impact and can help us achieve even more.”
