Kitara FC have unveiled their three new players who they hope will propel them to a first-ever Ugandan Premier League title.

Ugandan football club Kitara FC has officially unveiled three new players, including high-profile striker Shaban Muhammad, as it strengthens its squad for a serious challenge for the Uganda Premier League title.

The club presented Shaban Muhammad, Living Kabon, and Edson Agondeze from Buhimba Saints at a recent event. Kitara FC CEO Joshua Atugonza explained that these signings are a key part of the club's strategy to build a team capable of competing for multiple honours.

"Winning trophies is not new for Kitara. We have lifted the Stanbic Cup and represented Uganda in Libya," Atugonza stated. "Our ambition now is to win the league and make a significant impact on the continent."

The CEO also urged the club's supporters to maintain their passionate backing, assuring them that the team is committed to bringing them success and silverware.

"What all fans want are trophies," Atugonza remarked. "Shaban has scored against us twice in the past and helped us in critical league situations. Now he is here to lead our attack and get revenge on our rivals."

New Signings Declare Big Ambitions

Shaban Muhammad, the team's marquee signing, shared his enthusiasm for the move.

"My job is to score goals and bring joy to the fans," he said. "Kitara is a big club with an incredible fan base, and I am joining a winning team."

Another new addition, Living Kabon, is making a return to the club, which he described as "home."

"I received many calls from the club, and Kitara has always been in my blood," Kabon explained. "I had to make the bold decision to come back."

With these strategic reinforcements, Kitara FC has sent a clear message of its intent to compete for the top prize in Ugandan football and create a memorable season for its dedicated supporters.

Kitara are fourth on the Premier League standings with 33 points, five behind leaders and champions Vipers, from 16 games.
