The Flamingos of Nigeria went to South Africa and defeated the Bantwana 3-1 in a 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup 1st leg qualifier.
After a comfortable 2-0 win against South Africa's Bantwana at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne on Saturday, Nigeria's Flamingos secured their spot in the final qualifying round for the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.

With a 3-1 victory in the first leg in Pretoria last weekend, Nigeria qualified with an aggregate score of 5-1.

The Flamingos could not translate their dominance into a goal until the 37th minute when Harmony Chidi scored to break the deadlock.
