In a public statement, Levy described the “emotionally difficult” decision to part ways with Ange Postecoglou, who ended Tottenham’s 17-year trophy drought by securing the Europa League title against Manchester United but struggled in the Premier League.

"We need to win the league. We want to win the Premier League. We want to win the Champions League. We want to win. I have very broad shoulders. Failure is not an option. The desire is to succeed. And because it’s so difficult, I want to succeed even more.”

Reflecting on the emotional weight of past challenges, Levy added, “The pressure and the disappointment of not winning over several years … I just wanted it so desperately. Not just for me and my family, but all the fans around the world. We deserved some luck."
Spurs have already begun strengthening their squad, finalizing a €35 million deal to make Mathys Tel’s loan move from Bayern Munich permanent, and are now actively pursuing Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo to further bolster their attacking options.
There is also talk of club captain Son Heung-Min moving to the Saudi Pro League this summer, ushering in a new era at the club.
