Uganda Cranes playmaker Allan Okello has been unveiled as new Viper SC player.

The former KCCA FC star met with Vipers Director Lawrence Mulindwa  earlier on Thursday to finalize the move, and it didn't take long before he signed a three-year deal.

Okello only recently parted ways with Algerian side Paradou AC on mutual consent, but he's now a Venom.

Okello joined Paradou in 2020 on a long-term four-year contract from KCCA but spent last season at the latter on loan.

With the Kasasiro Boys last season, Okello managed a decent eight assists and scored five times in the Uganda Premier League.

Okello is former 2019 FUFA Male Player of the Year award winner and played 119 times for KCCA in the first stint, where he scored 39 goals.

At KCCA, he won two Uganda Premier League championships in the 2016/17 and 2018/19 campaigns, respectively.

He also clinched two Uganda Cups in the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, as well as the 2018 FUFA Super 8 Cup and the 2018/19 CECAFA Kagame Cup.

After Brazilians Giancarlo Lopez Rodriguez and Luiz Otavio Santos de Araujo alias Tinga's departure, the Venoms have made six signings, including David Bagoole, Grant Matsiko and Richard Matovu.

Midfielder Patrick Mbowa forwards Fumador Asiwome and Mohamed Salem Ekbad have also joined the Kitende-based side.
