Meanwhile, sources close to the player asserted that Shaban's priority is to renew with the 13-time Uganda Premier League champions.

After reports emerging last week that Tanzanian kingpins Young Africans SC had expressed interest in alluring KCCA FC forward Muhammad Shaban, Kenyan giants Gor Mahia have entered the race, per reliable sources.

Shaban's contract at KCCA has about three months before expiration, and the club is already in talks for an extension.

However, talks are getting complicated by the day with the fast-emerging interests from outside the country.

Sources close to Shaban have intimated that Gor Mahia and former Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan Mckinstry is a huge admirer of the goal-scorer and wants the club to secure his signature.
