Paint company Kansai Plascon is steadfast in its mission to establish itself as the premier sponsor of Ugandan sports.
This ambition was unveiled by the company's Managing Director, Santosh Gumte, during the launch of the 12th edition of the Paint and Win campaign – Twaake Edition on Monday.
"Before we initiated this level of engagement, we had our own football team, Kansai Plascon," Gumte shared with Pulse Sports.

"We have a passion for supporting lesser-known sports to build them to a level where other sponsors feel encouraged to come on board and extend their support."
"We are exploring collaborations with boxing to understand how we can contribute to the growth of the sport," he further commented.
Recently, Plascon entered a partnership with Lango Province, a team participating in the FUFA Drum.

They are the premium sponsors Arua Hill and maintain partnerships with Vipers SC and the Stanbic Uganda Cup.
Plascon also stands as the main sponsor for the Cricket Cranes and the national netball team, the She Cranes, alongside rugby side Plascon Entebbe Mongers.
The company extended its sponsorship to two-time National Rally Champion, Ponsiano Lwakataka, Buddu FC in the Masaza Tournament, and the Uganda Sports Press Association - USPA, where they sponsor the monthly Plascon Media Awards.
