AFCON 2023: Bitter Ghanaian journalists block team bus, call out players for answers after draw with Mozambique (VIDEO)
Ghana's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations journey met a massive slump after their two-all stalemate at the hands of Mozambique Alessane Ouattara Stadium, Abidjan on Monday.
Jordan Ayew thought his brace had earned the Black Stars a spot in the knockouts, but Geny Catamo and Reinildo Mandava rallied late on to leave it levelled.
In the aftermath, frustrated Ghanaian journalists demanded the players and coaches emerge from the dressing rooms to provide answers for their abysmal displays.
The Ghana Media here have taken it upon ourselves to sack whoever deserves a sack.

Hughton is the first. The rest should come
The CAF Security should be calm, we will be under control. pic.twitter.com/xf9OGBDptR
"We are waiting for them; we want answers. We won't touch anybody, we want to ask questions," one shouted.
More security personnel were deployed to contain the situation as the journalists nearly turned rowdy.
CAF security has called for reinforcement. The media just want to meet the team.

We are not leaving until they come.
We won’t tolerate this level of embarrassment and wastage again.
If powers won’t do, we will let them know how it feels to play for this team.

Others asked for the mass resignation of the Ghana football administration and the technical team.
Ghana hasn't managed victory in three Africa Cup of Nations matches.
Despite having four AFCON titles, the last time they won any was 1982 when the tournament harboured eight nations.
