One player who was outstanding throughout the match was Casemiro and United fans couldn't resist praising him despite the whole team putting in efforts to land the Carabao trophy.

Newcastle are wounded after losing to Manchester United in the Carabao final, but that doesn't mean that they can't challenge for other major trophies in Europe.

The Magpies are currently 5th in the EPL after dropping crucial points against a struggling Liverpool. The good news however is that they could be competing in the UEFA Champions League if they finish among the top four.
