Tobi Amusan has gotten another significant recognition, making the list of the World Championships greatest moments.

Nigeria's Tobi Amusan's World Record (WR) run at the 2022 World Championships in Oregon, has made the list of the World Athletics greatest moments in World Championships history.

Amusan broke the World Record in her semifinal race of the women's 100m Hurdles with 12.12s. Later that evening – showing her world record was no fluke – she won the final with a marginally wind-assisted 12.06s.

By so doing, Amusan became Nigeria's first outdoor World champion and World Record holder.Her performance in Oregon has now been categorised as one of the greatest in World Championships history.

Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone with an incredible dominant run smashed the 400m Hurdles World Record with 50.68s.

Shaunae Miller-Uibo – a double Olympic champion at 400m – finally won her first world title at her specialist distance.

And Venezuela’s Yulimar Rojas earned her third consecutive world triple jump title, winning by more than half a metre with 15.47m.

The World Championships greatest moments were arranged by the World Athletics body to celebrate 40 years of the World Athletics Championships.

It's allowing fans of the sport vote to help choose the 40 greatest moments in the history of the championship and stand a chance to win a trip to the World Championships in Budapest.
