Like she has been all season, She Cranes shooter Mary Nuba Cholhok showcased her shooting prowess as Loughborough Lightning beat Manchester Thunder 64-52 on Saturday.

Nuba scored 52 goals, as many as Manchester Thunder managed on the evening, to end the latter's unbeaten streak.

It should be recalled that in the previous game, Nuba had scored 55, the same tally as Leeds Rhinos managed as Loughborough Lightning beat them 71-55.

The Ugandan star continues to lead the scoring charts with 285 goals. Leeds Pulse's Joyce Mvula and Severn Stars' Sigrid Burger follow in second and third, with 221 and 215 goals, respectively.

Meanwhile, despite the victory over Manchester Thunder, Loughborough Lightning still sit second with 15 points, the same as the former, who have a superior goal difference.

On the other hand, Peace Proscovia and Haniisha Muhameed's Surrey Storm managed a 60-44 victory over Team Bath Netball on Saturday.

Proscovia scored 24 goals, while Muhameed dropped three Interceptions, to guide Storm to seventh (nine points) on the 10-team table.

Proscovia now sits sixth on the scoring standings with 156 goals, while Muhameed sits ninth on Interceptions charts with nine.
