Anthony Joshua vs Otto Wallin: Time and Where to watch Nigerian at Day of Reckoning

This weekend, British-born boxer of Nigerian descent Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin will be the main attractions at the heavily stacked "Day of Reckoning" event in Saudi Arabia.

With victories over Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin in 2023, Joshua is motivated to close the year strong and set up a matchup with Deontay Wilder.

Having suffered two defeats at the hands of Oleksandr Usyk at the start of the year, Joshua has started to turn things around with easy wins over Robert Helenius and Jermaine Franklin.

On the same card, "The Bronze Bomber" squares off against Joseph Parker, another former world champion.

According to the most recent sources, the heavyweight rivals might meet in person as early as March of next year, if they survive those tests unscathed.

In addition, Joshua may be inspired to be a three-time world champion if the heavyweight titles are split following Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk's showdown decision in February.

If those two fight again, the IBF championship is expected to be up for grabs, and Joshua would be well-positioned to challenge Filip Hrgovic for the belt if the Wilder fight doesn't happen.

However, Wallin will be eager to thwart all of these strategies, advancing his own hopes of winning the world championship in the process.

In 2019, the Swedish heavyweight gained notoriety after persevering past Tyson Fury and leaving his opponent with lacerations and cuts.

Wallin, a Swedish southpaw, is best known for fighting Tyson Fury for 12 rounds in 2019, with an advantage against "The Gypsy King" before losing on the judges' scorecards and could ruin plans for a Wilder and Joshua fight.

After defeating former cruiserweight champion Murat Gassiev in September, Wallin enters the bout fresh off one of his greatest performances to date.

On Saturday, December 23, 2023, Joshua vs. Wallin will take place in the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The main event is scheduled to begin at approximately 3:45 am local time, but those times are subject to change as always.
