Arua Hill keen on ending their gloomy run

Strugglers Arua Hill SC will be hoping they can halt their absolutely abysmal form when they host Maroons FC at the Paridi Stadium on Wednesday.

The Leopards are enduring their worst Uganda Premier League start ever as they sit at the base with just five points in eleven matches.

With relegation staring at them, it's about time they started grinding out some positive results with four matches remaining to finish the first round.

Arua Hill were nearly annihilated in their previous match as they were beaten 4-1 by the David Obua-coached Arua Hill.

They take on a massively stubborn opponent in Maroons, who come off the back of a crucial one-all stalemate with defending champions Vipers SC.

The Prison Warders sit a decent sixth on the 16-team table with 19 points out of a possible 33.

When Arua Hill hosted the meeting last season, they were comfortable 3-1 victors at Barifa Stadium.

Goals from Rashid Toha, Rashid Kawawa and Innocent Media ensured the victory, while Abraham Tusubira netted Maroons' consolation.

However, the latter won 2-0 when the two met in Luzira, thanks to goals from Isaac Kajubi and Abel Etrude.
