The report suggests that a bid in the region of £40 million (approximately €47 million) would be enough to tempt Aston Villa.

In the last home game, the goalkeeper's tearful farewell hinted at a possible departure. An anonymous source told the newspaper that Amorim is a big admirer of the goalkeeper and even tried to sign him in 2020, before he joined Villa.

According to a recent report from the Telegraph, the Rojiblancos have taken a liking to Martinez and are now also weighing up a move.

While Oblak is in the same age range as Martinez, it is believed that he is also contemplating charting new territories. Per the report, should Oblak, who has received offers from multiple clubs, leave this summer, Atleti will make a move for Martinez.

Meanwhile, the two-time Copa America champion has also attracted interest from Saudi Arabia. It remains to be seen whose colours he would don next season.
