The term' attractive football' has always been used to describe, at best, a specific entertaining style of play that goes beyond just scoring goals.

Newly appointed Kitara FC head coach Brian Ssenyondo is the kind that has always been associated with attractive football, especially with his previous stints at Synergy, Mbarara City FC and UPDF FC which bare the exact traits.

"I am here (Kitara) to play attractive football and, of course, win games; for a club this level that has a fairly good financial backing, I believe we shall compete favourably," Ssenyondo said.

"I am targeting ball players because I intend to stick to playing beautiful football, similar to what I had at Mbarara City."

The soft-spoken tactician had been linked to other clubs before putting pen to paper but said he was attracted by the Kitara project and vision when he was approached.

"When I talked to Kitara, they presented a good project with a good vision, similar to what I did at Synergy, so that enticed me to join the club," he added.

"Yes, we shall have a few changes to the playing squad; we expect to bring in at least ten players."

Kitara gained promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League for the second time in the club's history.

Unlike 2021 when they were relegated at the first ask, the side will hope to remain in the topflight.
