Bebe Cool's son set for topflight football

Celebrated singer, Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool is set to be a happier man as his son, Alpha Thierry Ssali, is bound for a first taste of top-flight football.

Ssali is in advanced talks with newly promoted side NEC FC for a permanent move ahead of the forthcoming Uganda Premier League season.

Trusted sources at the Bugolobi based outfit have asserted; "talks have been ongoing for the past days and they have so far been positive."

Bebe Cool has in the past revealed how he intends to do whatever it takes to have his son play football at the highest level.

A move to NEC, under Hussein Mbalangu, could be the right springboard for the leap, before even bigger heights.

The attacker has been part of Proline Football Club almost all his life having joined their academy as a toddler, years back.

Ssali, 19, has previously made Uganda U-20 (the Hippos) squads in 2021 and 2023 for the under-age Africa Cup of Nations.

He was also part of Team Fundi, which had Ugandan youngsters, that traveled to Spain last year for trials with a number of teams.
