Bishop Angero Negri College qualified for the knockout stages of the National Secondary Schools Football Championship following their 1-0 win over London College Nansana on Sunday.

Nansana went into Sunday’s fixture already qualified with 15 points, while Angero Negri, at 13, needed a positive result to end Sironko Progressive's hopes.
The school from Gulu emerged winners to go top of the table with 16 points and will be facing Sironko on Monday for formality.
Nansana will play Mengo SS in the other dead rubber in Group B.
