Bright Osayi-Samuel: Super Eagles defender faces lengthy ban for assaulting Trabzonspor fan

After the match, home supporters stormed the pitch, prompting Super Eagles defender Osayi-Samuel to defend himself against a violent attack from a Trabzonspor fan.
In a viral video on social media, he was seen punching a fan in a bid to defend himself.
Osayi-Samuel facing 10-game suspension?
According to Turkey Leo Sports, Osayi-Samuel could now be slapped with a suspension of up to 10 games for his part in the brawl, with other Fenerbahce players also expected to be punished.

The 26-year-old could receive further punishment and may be referred to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Disciplinary Committee, the decision to ban the defender lies entirely with them.
Article 44 of the Turkish football discipline rules stipulates that the defender could face a suspension that could last anywhere between a few weeks and a year, depending on the discretion of the disciplinary committee.
The defender is expected to plead self-defense to avoid punishment, and the hearing in the case has been fixed for Tuesday, April 2.
