Harry Kane's goal in Bayern Munich’s 3-2 victory over St. Pauli on Saturday means he has now scored against all 19 clubs he has faced in the Bundesliga

Only Miroslav Klose has achieved this feat against more clubs in the German top flight, with the retired striker scoring against 28 teams.

Kane's latest Bundesliga strike ended a mini-drought and brought his league goal tally to 22, making him the division's top scorer.

The England international has netted 58 goals in 57 Bundesliga games since joining Bayern, a record unmatched by any other player in Europe's top five leagues during that period.

Kane’s Bundesliga aspirations

Kane moved to Bayern from Tottenham in August 2023, seeking to end his long wait for a major trophy. The forward is now on course to achieve that goal, with Bayern leading the Bundesliga.

Bayern currently lead Victor Boniface’s Bayer Leverkusen by six points at the top of the table, with just seven games left in the season.

Vincent Kompany’s men will undoubtedly clinch the league by winning all their remaining fixtures or five of their seven matches, although the Meisterschale could be secured earlier.

If Boniface and his teammates lose three consecutive games against Heidenheim, Union Berlin and St. Pauli while Bayern win fixtures against Augsburg, Borussia Dortmund and Heidenheim, then the Bavarians could clinch the league crown on April 19 against Heidenheim.

This scenario is deemed improbable, meaning Bayern will secure the Bundesliga title if they win five matches in their last seven, regardless of how Leverkusen perform.

It should be noted that Kane could still claim a double this term, with Die Bayern still in the Champions League. Kompany's men face Inter in the quarter-final, aiming to eliminate Simone Inzaghi's sturdy Nerazzurri for a semi-final berth.

What next for Bayern?

Bayern are next in action on Friday, April 4, at Augsburg, four days before hosting Inter in Europe.
