Chelsea set high price for Jackson to deter Manchester United's interest

Chelsea have reportedly slapped an £80-100 million price tag on Nicolas Jackson amidst growing interest in the striker, according to Sky Sports.

Sky Sports further reports that if negotiations progress, Liverpool's impending £79 million deal for Hugo Ekitike will likely serve as a benchmark.

This is due to their similar age, but with Jackson boasting superior stats and more goals over the past two seasons in a more competitive league.

Chelsea manager, Enzo Maresca, would prefer to retain Jackson, bolstering his attacking options alongside new signings Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
