Premier League side Wolves are eager to strenghten after losing their first two games of the season, and have identified Getafe midfielder Chrisantus Uche as the perfect addition.

However, AC Milan's sudden interest has thrown a wrench into the proceedings. On Sunday evening, during Getafe's match against Sevilla, Rossoneri sporting director Geoffrey Moncada was seen in Seville, allegedly monitoring Uche closely.

Chrisantus Uche to AC Milan?

According to Nigerian journalist Buchi Laba, Milan had contacted Getafe directly about Uche, with the player willing to consider both options.

Should Milan make a formal bid, the decision will rest with the forward, who could prioritise one of Europe's biggest club over a move to relegation-candidate Wolves.

Uche, who made his debut for Nigeria in May, has developed into an all-round midfielder, adding goals and assists to his game.

Last season he scored four times and notched 6 assists for Getafe, catching the eye of several clubs across Europe. With just 5 days left of the window, this is a deal to keep an eye on.
