It's so early in the 2023/24 Uganda Premier League season to term Vipers SC's game against BUL FC as a title decider, but the meeting already promises fireworks.

Having initially been scheduled for Saturday, December 23, the match has been pulled to Friday, December 22, at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende floodlights.

It will be the second-placed hosts against the table leaders from the East, with the two only separated by a couple of points.

While BUL sits at the Apex with 26 points, Vipers occupy second with 24 after just eleven matches.

As the visitors will be keen on extending their lead to within five points, the hosts will, on the other hand, be eager to assume the summit with victory.

The two teams have both scored 17 goals in the league this season, whilst they've both conceded just seven at the back.

It should be noted that the Vipers are unbeaten at home this season and have picked four victories from their five games, scoring ten and leaking in just two goals.

Vipers' last league defeat at the St Mary's Stadium, Kitende, came over two years ago in November 2021.

On the other hand, BUL has picked four wins in six games away from home, losing and drawing one apiece.
