Nigerian-eligible sensation Samuel Omorodion was the centre of attention after he inspired Deportivo Alaves to a dominant 3-1 victory against former club Granada.

Omorodion destroys Granada
The 19-year-old, who left Granada in the summer for Atletico Madrid faced some familiar faces and friends. However, he put friendship to contribute to two goals.
He netted in either half, though the first goal was later adjudged to be an own goal, but the forward was later rewarded with his goal in the second half.
The first half saw a tightly contested encounter, with both teams sizing each other up before a brilliant move by Omorodion forced the ball into Granada’s goal to put Alaves in front.
After the half-hour mark, Alaves doubled their lead thanks to Abderrahman Rebbach to put the home side in a comfortable stead at the break.
And just five minutes before the hour mark, the Spanish youth international finally got the reward his performance deserved when he made the game safe with the third goal for Alaves.
Granada pulled one back four minutes from time but it was nothing but a consolation as Omorodion’s brilliance on the day proved decisive for Alaves.
