Cristiamo Ronaldo shows Kenyan Michael Olunga who is ‘boss’

Kenyan international Michael Olunga found himself overshadowed by the unmatched prowess of the legendary Portuguese striker, Cristiano Ronaldo during their Asian Champions League encounter on Tuesday.

The match set the stage for a showdown between some of Asia's top strikers. On one side was Olunga, the 2021 Champions League top scorer.

While on the other, the indomitable duo of Ronaldo and African Footballer of the Year, Sadio Mane.

While Olunga was indeed on target, his goal could not prevent Al-Duhail's loss.

As Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr clinched a dramatic 4-3 victory against Al-Duhail of Qatar, it was clear who was commanding the game.

The game witnessed Ronaldo’s dominance from the onset as his backheel set up Anderson Talisca for the opening goal. Mane, not to be left behind, doubled the advantage before halftime.

However, it was Ronaldo's magic that shone brightest. His iconic left-footed curler from outside the box made it a daunting 3-0.

Just when Al-Duhail seemed to be fighting back with goals from Ismaeel Mohammed and Almoez Ali, Ronaldo rose to the occasion again.

With nine minutes left, he masterfully volleyed a deep cross into the net, sealing the deal for Al-Nassr.

Olunga did manage to pull one back, bringing the scoreline to 4-3, but it wasn't enough to save the day.

The Kenyan striker thought he had equalised earlier in the game, but the celebration was short-lived as the goal was disallowed following a VAR review.

Al-Nassr’s victory solidified their position at the top of Group E with nine points from three matches.

On the other hand, Al-Duhail, who once had a favourable history against the Saudi Arabian side, found themselves grappling with just a single point from their initial three matches.
