After seven (7) rounds of matches in the Serie A so far, Dessers is yet to find the back of the net for his new club Cremonese with the club in the relegation places.

The Nigerian international moved to Cremonese on a five-year deal on a permanent basis from Belgian side KRC Genk at the beginning of the season after impressing for both Genk and Dutch Eredivisie side Feyenoord.

Dessers teamed up with fellow Nigerian striker David Okereke who also joined Cremonese this season, but the former Genk striker has found life more difficult with Okereke already opening his goal account.

In rankings done by Italian news outlet Tutto Sport, Dessers was listed amongst the flops so far in a list that also featured other high-profile players like Nemanja Matic, Luka Jovic, and Samuel Umtiti.
