David Adeleye: Nigerian-born boxer returns on Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou undercard
The super fight between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be supported by an all-heavyweight undercard/
The historic matchup between WBC & lineal heavyweight boxing world champion Tyson Fury and lineal MMA heavyweight world champion Francis Ngannou will feature a 12-round fight of rising stars as the main support event.
David Adeleye vs Fabio Wardley
The primary support fight will pit unbeaten British heavyweight standouts Fabio Wardley and David Adeleye against one another.
On Saturday, October 28 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, unbeaten British heavyweight contenders Fabio Wardley and David Adeleye will engage in a pivotal fight.
Ipswich's Wardley won the title of English champion in 2021 by stopping Nick Webb in the first round.
In November of that year, he won the title of British champion by TKOing Nathan Gorman in the third round.
He recently defeated Michael Coffie through a technical knockout in the fourth round.
Adeleye celebrates fight against Wardley
Adeleye took to his official social media platforms to celebrate the fight being made.
Along with a photo of the fight was a message that said, "28-0 (26 knockouts) between us. Everywhere I go people are talking about this fight. Somebody is getting knocked out... I
" know who it is - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I’ll see you soon!"
The current WBO European champion, Adeleye of London, defeated the previously unbeaten Dmytro Bezus at York Hall in February.
At the Fury-Ngannou press conference in London earlier this month, the rivalry between Adeleye and Wardley reached new heights as the fighters and their squads got physical on the red carpet.
Wardley sustained injuries from the fight under his chin and above his left eye.
