As Pulse Sports reported, the 33-year-old is harbouring ambitions of a European reunion, specifically a return to his beloved Barcelona, before hanging up his boots.
Despite recently recommitting to boyhood club Santos in Brazil on a short-term deal, Neymar's long-term vision appears fixed on a second stint at the Camp Nou.
According to Spanish publication Sport, the 33-year-old's representative, Pini Zahavi, has already initiated exploratory talks with Barcelona regarding a potential summer transfer.
Barcelona's conditions
According to an update from the Catalan publication, the Blaugrana are wary of making a move for the Brazilian, as they are not fully convinced about his form, discipline and fitness.
The signing is not valued as a priority at the moment, but the Blaugrana could still make a move for him on one condition. A member of the Blaugrana hierarchy reportedly sent the following message to Neymar's entourage: “First you score 15 goals with Santos and then we will consider your signing.”
That number could be easily attainable for Neymar, who has had a brilliant start in his return to Brazil. He has three goals and three assists in six starts so far.
