Dominant She Cranes complete revenge as they thrash Wales in second Test Series match
In a show of sheer dominion, Uganda's national netball team, the She Cranes, beat Wales 64-40 in their second match of the Test Series at the House of Sports in Cardiff on Friday.
In picking the victory, the She Cranes were revenging their Wednesday 57-45 defeat to the same opponent in the first match of the Series.
Led by a more effective Mary Nuba Cholhok, who had a quiet evening on Wednesday, the She Cranes got through the blocks early and took a 30-24 lead at halftime.
Minutes into the third quarter, the Fred Mugerwa-coached side opened a 40-27 lead, which later extended into a massive 19-goal gap as they led 49-30 heading into the final quarter.
The She Cranes then killed it off in the final quarter with 15-10 goals, which made it a 24-goal gap by full-time.
Currently tied 1-1, the two nations will face-off again in the final match of the Test Series on Saturday.
The She Cranes will then embark on the much more challenging Vitality Netball Nations Cup in England.
