Former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is set to make his return to the ring on June 27, 2025.

The Bronze Bomber will be facing Tyrrell Herndon in a 10-round bout in Wichita, Kansas.

The fight, announced by promoters Global Combat Collective comes after a difficult period for Wilder, who is looking to rebound following back-to-back losses to Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang.

His opponent, Tyrrell Herndon, is a 37-year-old journeyman from San Antonio, Texas, with a professional record of 24-5-0, including 15 knockouts.

There are reports that Edo Man Deontay Wilder will quit boxing in 2025.

Herndon comes into the fight on a three-fight win streak, his most recent being a split decision victory over Rudy Silvas in May 2024.
