Efe Ajagba celebrated by Houston Dynamo: Nigerian boxer shines as MLS side progress in playoffs

Nigerian professional boxer Efe Ajagba is back on the social media trends.

Ajagba is shining outside the boxing ring just one week after his latest victory.

Ajagba defeated heavyweight opponent Joe Goodall in just four rounds to exact revenge for his loss at the 2014 Commonwealth Games.

Just under a minute into the fourth round, referee Tony Weeks stopped the bout, giving the Nigerian fighter his 19-1 professional record. 

Following his victory, Ajagba went to visit MLS side Houston Dynamo.

The Houston Dynamo have had a remarkable season, beating Lionel Messi's Inter Miami to a trophy.

Ajagba is now based in Houston, and the Dynamo celebrated his recent success.

After their third game ended 1-1 after ninety minutes, the Houston Dynamo defeated Real Salt Lake 4-3 in a penalty shootout to go to the Western Conference semifinals of Major League Soccer.
