Okocha took to social media to share a video of the duo discussing his defeat to music start Portable in a celebrity bout last year.
Okocha and Portable
According to a Pulse Sports report, Okocha and Portable were involved in a highly celebrated boxing match to settle financial scores.
Pop star Portable claimed Okocha cheated him out of the money, only sending him a small amount, contrary to a contractual agreement between the two.
After several months of online discussions and allegations of a N40 million scam, Nollywood actor Okocha and Nigerian street-pop musician Portable resolved to settle in the ring via a celebrity boxing bout.
Okocha visits Ighalo
Following the defeat to Portable, Okocha was spotted at the home of AFCON 2019 top scorer, Ighalo, to celebrate the New Year.
Okocha took to social media to share that he had linked up with "phenomenal bro" Ighalo, with a video of the duo talking about his boxing bout against musician Portable.
The actor had accused Portable of rigging the contest, which was corroborated by Ighalo, who described his guest as “my champ” and ‘the people’s champ”.
“Odion my nigga, Ighalo my nigga,” Okocha stated at the start of the video posted on his Instagram page, with Ighalo tagged. “Where is Ighalo?” he quizzed further as he walked up the stairs to meet Ighalo.
In his response, the Saudi Arabia-based star responded with “My champ.”
