Eyes on the golden boot race as the second round returns

The focus will be on the golden boot race as the second round of the Uganda beach soccer League returns on Sunday at the FUFA Technical Centre in Njeru.

All the teams will be in action as eight fixtures are lined for the day.

Leading scorer Nicholas Mwere will fancy his chances as his Jinja Lions take on defending champions St. Lawrence University and Kiringete on the day.

The striker has netted 24 goals this season with Baker Lukooya and Simon Kizito following from a distance with 17.

However, Mwere could be boosted with the fact that Lukooya will be absent for at least three games as he serves a ban for indiscipline.
