Fans name Spanish club ‘biggest’ in the world after posting Wizkid picture

LaLiga club Cadiz sent Afrobeat fans into a frenzy after sharing an image of Nigerian superstar Wizkid on Social media.

Cadiz shared a photo of the Afro-beat star boy Wizkid sporting the club’s golden kit on a stage on their Twitter handle.

The Nigerian superstar was pictured entertaining fans at an event looking elegant in the colours of the modest LaLiga club.

The latest Wizkid prop from Cadiz is not a surprise as the Spanish outfit is known for their affinity for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Cadiz, it will be recalled, was one of the few clubs that celebrated the new year (2023) by wishing Nigeria and Nigerians a happy new year.

The LaLiga club also celebrated the nation’s independence day last year as they continued to grow their love for the country.

In their latest show of love for Nigeria and anything Nigerian, Cadiz posted an image of one of the country’s biggest music exports, Wizkid.

The post came with the caption,  “A very special Cadiz fan,” and elicited some interesting reactions from football and music fans, but most especially, Wizkid’s supporters.

Following the latest prop, Cadiz have now been declared the biggest club in the world by some of the fans who reacted to the Wizkid post.

According to some of the reactions, Cadiz is said to be bigger than the likes of LaLiga leaders, FC Barcelona,  and English side, Chelsea FC.

Others also reacted by asking the club to make available the golden kit in Nigeria, with one fan explaining what Cadiz are trying to do with their show of love for Nigeria.
