FIBA U18: Nigeria show no mercy in double win as U18 Girls trash Liberia 90-9

Nigeria's U18 female basketball team showed no mercy as they blew apart their Liberian opponents in a one-sided affair at the ongoing FIBA U18 Afrobasket 2024 Qualifiers-Zone 3 in Abidjan.

In a display of sheer dominance, the Nigerian U18 girls' team annihilated their Liberian counterparts, winning the match by an astounding 90-9 scoreline.

The Nigerian side led Liberia 56-4 at the end of the first half, before showcasing their overwhelming superiority on the court to see the game off.

The Nigerian U18 boys' team also emerged victorious, defeating Liberia by a comfortable 82-49 margin.

In addition to the girls' team's dominant performance, the Nigerian U18 boys' squad also secured a convincing win over Liberia, completing the double for the West African powerhouse.

The junior Tigress (girls) and the Nigerian boys' team have both demonstrated their ruthlessness and determination to make their mark at the FIBA U18 Afrobasket 2024 Qualifiers-Zone 3 in Abidjan.
