Galatasaray’s ambitious summer

Upon the end of Fernando Muslera’s 11-year stint at the club, after the end of last season, it was clear that Cim Bom would have to sign a goalkeeper this summer.

Their participation in the Champions League has also meant that they have been targeting top talents, evident in their signing of Leroy Sane and the desire to sign Victor Osimhen on a permanent deal, despite the incredible hit on their yearly budget.

Project Ederson

According to Haber Sarikirmizi, Ederson is a goalkeeper desired by the Turkish champions, and they have been told that he wants a salary of €15 million annually.

The 31-year-old joined the Cityzens in the summer of 2027 and has been a key contributor to the most successful period in the club's history.

However, he is inching closer to the end of his time at Manchester. He was close to an exit to Saudi Arabia and admitted that he truly contemplated the move, but the club convinced him to stay.

He reportedly has an offer from the Gulf presently, a deal that promises a salary worth €25 million annually. However, Galatasaray would fancy their chances after recently seeing Osimhen turn down significantly more money from Saudi Arabia to join them.

It remains to be seen what Manchester City would demand as his transfer fee, as the Brazil international only has one year left on his contract.
