Christian Coleman won his second 60m world title, after taking down Noah Lyles and the rest of the field for victory in a world-leading time of 6.41s, at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow.

Christian Coleman regained his throne and sweet revenge over Noah Lyles, after clocking a world-leading 6.41s to win his second world 60m title on British soil at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow.

The World Record (WR) holder ran a perfectly executed race through maximizing his strength of a fast start and held on enough to cross the finish line ahead of his compatriot Lyles, who settled for second in 6.44s.

Coleman's victory was a sweet revenge over Lyles edging him to the US title two weeks ago - his first loss in the event since losing to Olympic Champion Marcell Jacobs at the 2022 World Indoor Championships in Belgrade.

Also, more interesting was winning in front of his parents, who came to watch him live for the first time in over 20 years. In addition, it is his second world 60m title on British soil, as his first was back in 2018 in Birmingham.

Jamaica's Ackeem Blake did enough to win the bronze medal in 6.46s, while African champion Ferdinand Omanyala settled for fourth in 6.56s.
