The match was one-sided from the moment Kingsley Coman struck in the sixth minute, deftly nodding the ball past Auckland’s helpless goalkeeper, Conor Tracey.

Bayern dominated the first half, showing no mercy to their outclassed opponents. Coman added another goal, joined by Thomas Müller, Sacha Boey, and a clinical brace from Michael Olise, giving the German champions a commanding 6-0 lead at the break.

Auckland held firm for the opening 20 minutes of the second half, as Vincent Kompany shuffled his lineup.

Jamal Musiala, back from injury, made it 7-0 with a sublime curled shot in the 67th minute. The 22-year-old doubled his tally soon after, converting a penalty following a foul in the Auckland box.

The Twin City crowd roared when Angus Kilkolly charged toward Bayern’s goal, only to fire a weak shot straight at Manuel Neuer—Auckland’s sole attempt on target.

Musiala then sealed a 23-minute hat-trick, capitalizing on a wayward Auckland back pass. As the clock ticked down, Müller tapped in his second goal, marking his 250th for Bayern, to wrap up a 10-0 rout.
