Harambee Stars Forward Ryan Ogam Given Heartwarming Departure by Tusker as he Departs for Wolfsberger

Tusker FC striker Ryan Wesley Ogam has completed a transfer to Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC, marking a major step in his blossoming career. 

The move was confirmed on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, as the Kenyan champions bade farewell to one of their most promising young players.

Ogam, 20, joined Tusker in 2023 as a midfielder before being converted into a forward. The switch proved transformative, with the youngster scoring 15 goals in just 17 appearances during the 2024/25 FKF Premier League season.

Beyond club football, Ogam cemented his reputation on the international stage. At the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN), he struck crucial goals against Morocco and Zambia, underlining his potential as one of Kenya’s brightest attacking talents.

In his parting message, Ogam expressed gratitude to the Brewers: “Thank you to the Tusker family for the time that I have been with the team. I have enjoyed the support of everyone at the club. Were it not for them, probably I would not be standing here today. The club has been a good stepping stone for me, and I am very grateful.”
