Swabil Mpaasa’s hattrick and Richard Okello’s brace ensured the defending champions rolled off to a perfect start with a bonus point.

For the record, a win by a margin of two goals earns a team a bonus point in this tournament.

Vipers currently top the table with seven points, but their failure to rake the bonus point in their opening 2-1 win over Mbarara means that BUL take control of the table on Wednesday if they prosper with a good margin.

Coach Kabale has promised that his side will not relent.

“That’s how we wanted to start the tournament,” Kabale told Pulse Sports after the 5-0 win.

“That’s the kind of motivation that the boys needed and want to take the same energy to the other games. We have to push to get the same result against Prosper,” he expressed his hope.

BUL will face a Prosper side that also collected four points on day one after beating Friends of Soccer 3-1 before taking a rest on Tuesday.
