Nigerian striker Toluwase Arokodare, newly called up to the Super Eagles squad, has offered a lighthearted response to a viral throwback picture that has been making waves online.

As reported by Pulse Sports Nigeria, the photo, which dates back to his youth football days in Nigeria, shows a much younger Arokodare towering over his teammates.

However, the Genk forward humorously denied being the person in the image.

Reacting to the post shared by popular sports journalist Pooja on social media, Arokodare quipped;

“I don’t know who that person is, sorry.” He then added with a touch of humour, “That’s my lil bro.”
