Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim is determined to transform the culture at the club as he prepares for his first full season in charge of the Red Devils.
The 40-year-old, who took over from Erik ten Hag last November, led United to seven wins in 27 matches, finishing 15th in the Premier League and falling to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
Amorim has already strengthened the squad’s attack with the signings of Matheus Cunha from Wolves and Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford.
Ahead of the 2025/2026 season, the United boss has set a firm tone, emphasizing discipline and accountability.

He reportedly singled out Alejandro Garnacho in the dressing room, publicly addressing the young winger’s lackluster training performances to set an example.
“Now they understand when I say something, I will do it,” Amorim told reporters in the US.

“I don’t treat the players as babies. But they have rules now and that can change the way you train. I’m always on top. If you don’t train in the right way, I have footage to show you. And I show you in front of everybody.”
His no-nonsense approach could be the perfect solution to the problems United have faced in recent years, and shows his commitment to instilling a winning mentality and reshaping the club’s culture after a disappointing campaign.
