Iheanacho's dying-minute goal no match for Heung-Min Son's brilliance as Conte takes Tottenham into Top 4

Super Eagles forward Kelechi Iheanacho scored a 90th-minute goal for Leicester City on Sunday afternoon but it was too little too late for the Foxes. 

Tottenham Hotspur's in-form winger Heung-Min Son was the star of the match as he grabbed two (2) goals and one (1) assist to see the London side to a deserved 3-1 victory.

Victory in front of their home fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium sent Antonio Conte's into fourth (4th), one (1) point above Arsenal but having played a game more. 

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers chose to keep Nigeria's Ademola Lookman on the bench, instead pairing Super Eagles' Kelechi Iheanacho and Zambia's Patson Daka as the front two. 

The African strike partnership was not as lethal as that of Tottenham Hotspurs' Harry Kane and Son and it showed.

The England captain grabbed his 13th league goal of the season in the 22nd minute, assisted by Heung-Min Son for the Korean's seventh (7th) assist of the season.

Afterwards, it turned to the 'Son-show' with the Tottenham No. 7 scoring a second-half brace with goals in the 60th and 79th minute. 

Nigeria's Iheanacho had a quiet game in front of goal as the Leicester City team were preoccupied with defending against the rampaging Tottenham attack. 

In 90 minutes plus extra time of play, the 25-year-old attacker managed to touch the ball only 33 times, without completing any key passes, crosses, or long balls. 

However, Iheanacho made his only shot on target in the game count, scoring a consolation goal for the Foxes in the 91st minute, feeding off Your Tielemans' assist. 

The 3-1 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium takes the London side above city rivals Arsenal as the battle for Top 4 seems to have turned into a two-horse race between both teams. 

Tottenham now have 61 points from 34 matches while Arsenal are snapping at their heels with 60 points from 33 matches.

Chelsea still hold a comfortable five-point lead over Tottenham Hotspur despite suffering a shock 1-0 defeat away at Everton on Sunday afternoon too.
