Iwobi, Bassey, Chukwueze celebrate Nigerian Independence Day with cake in London

Fulham Football Club marked Nigeria's 65th Independence Day with a vibrant celebration at Motspur Park, their training ground in London.

The event took place on October 1, 2025 as Fulham brought together players, staff, and their families in a festive atmosphere.

Fulham's squad includes three members of the Super Eagles of Nigeria in Samuel Chukwueze, Alex Iwobi, and Calvin Bassey.

These players were central to the festivities, joining in the celebrations that featured traditional Nigerian elements.

The venue was decorated with green and white the colors of the Nigerian flag.
