Iwobidinho! - Alex Iwobi scores a stunner as Everton push Manchester United tight

Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi has shown he is a man reborn as he continues to grab the headlines with his performances for Everton.

Latest amongst the exploits of the Nigeria international is an excellent performance in Sunday's 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Goodison Park on Sunday night.

Despite the Toffees losing, Iwobi grabbed the attention of the crowd again with an outstanding goal after just 5 minutes and an action-packed performance as usual.

Everton manager Frank Lampard deployed his new-found midfield trio of Iwobi, Idrissa Gana Gueye, and Amadou Onana against a more accomplished United midfield of Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, and Bruno Fernandes.

However, it was the Toffees midfield that sparked to life first as they won the ball in the middle of the park in the 5th minute and drove forward with intention. 

Demarai Gray found Iwobi on the edge of the box with a pinpoint pass, with a lot left to do, Iwobi took on the shot after steadying the ball, putting it past the outstretched arms of David de Gea.
