Jamerican Love: Noah Lyles and girlfriend Junelle Bloomfield share perfect picture moment at USATF Awards
US track star Noah Lyles and his Jamaican girlfriend 400m runner Junelle Bloomfield looked stunning together as they attended the 2023 USATF Awards.
The Awards ceremony-themed 'Night of Legends' witnessed the link-up of some of the best track and field stars in US history as the best athletes of the 2023 season were honoured.
Lyles won a well-deserved Jesse Owens Male Athlete of the Year for the third consecutive time, based on his exceptional performances this season and popularity off-track.
He became the world's fastest man after winning the 100m title at the World Championships in Budapest. In addition, Lyles became the third American man in history to complete a sprint triple and join the ranks of Tyson Gay and Maurice Greene.
The 26-year-old clocked a 9.83s to win the 100m in Budapest, followed by a 19.52s for gold in the 200m - his third straight in the event, and anchored the US 4x100m team to gold in a world-leading 37.38s for triple the glory, to become a six-time world champion.
Also, for the second consecutive season, he went undefeated in the 200m, tallying six sub-20 clockings throughout the year, including a world-leading 19.47s at the London Diamond League.
His ability to excel from the 60m to the 200m proved to many that Lyles is not solely a 200m specialist and he's just a super-talented sprinter.
Lyles and Bloomfield have been dating for a few years now, and they're known to constantly showcase their love life on the internet.
They are one of the hottest and famous track and field couples in a romantic relationship.
