Saint Lucia's Olympic golden girl Julien Alfred began her tourism ambassadorial duties gracefully with a visit to some illustrious landmarks in London among other activities.
The Olympic 100m champion who has become a global phenom in Paris, explored some of London's iconic landmarks like Buckingham Palace, St Paul’s Cathedral, and The London Eye, before performing her ambassadorial duties of promoting Saint Lucia's beauty.

Alfred also advised a training group of young sprinters at Lee Valley in London, as well as visited the Saint Lucian embassy to carry out some social activities.

Sharing her experience on her Instagram page, the sprint queen captioned:
"In London for my duties as Saint Lucia’s Tourism Ambassador but I had to see the place first !"
Alfred had a historic 2024 season by becoming Saint Lucia's first gold medallist at the World Indoor Championships and Paris Olympic Games, as well as the Diamond League title to cap off her outstanding year.
In recognition of her exceptional performances, Saint Lucia's Tourism Authority announced Alfred as a Tourism Ambassador. The 24-year-old has made the Caribbean Island a tourist destination since she comfortably bagged the 100m Gold medal in Paris, now making millions worldwide come to know about the tiny country with 180,000 population.
