Nalukenge had endured a close-to-ten-month spell on the sidelines through injury but has now scored four goals in her last two games.

The game rounded off the year for the Apollon Limassol Women's team, and Nalukenge will be hopping for more game time as the year turns around.

Nalukenge is one of the most prolific Ugandan forwards in women football, despite only being 20 years.

The striker was, a week back, nominated for the world's Youth Player of the Year along with World Cup winner Salma Celeste Paralluelo and Real Madrid's Linda Caicedo, among others, in the IFFHS Awards.

It should also be noted that she was named the FUFA Female Player of the Year in 2019 at only 17 years, a clear manifest of her undoubted prowess.
