Juventus beat Udinese despite 5 saves from Super Eagles star

Despite the best efforts of Maduka Okoye, Juventus proved too strong for Udinese, beating them 2-0 to keep their place in the top four and their Champions League ambitions alive.

Okoye made five saves in the game, three of which were from close-range shots. Still, the Old Lady found a way to beat the Nigerian through Nicolas Gonzalez and Dusan Vlahovic.

The match began with both teams displaying determination, but Juventus dominated possession. Despite their pressure, the visitors held firm, with Udinese’s backline foiling the hosts' attacks.

Just before halftime, Andrea Cambiasso's shot required a fine save from Maduka Okoye, and the goalkeeper made another crucial stop in injury time from Nicolas Gonzalez's strike. After the break, Conceicao's long-range effort was tipped over by Okoye, but it was Juventus who eventually broke through when Gonzalez scored with a precise finish in the 60th minute.

The hosts continued to pour forward, and despite Udinese's resilient defence, they could not stem the tide. A well-worked break ended with Dušan Vlahovic scoring a decisive second goal, leaving the Little Zebras no chance of catching up.
