Kagimu set to join compatriot in North Macedonia

Uganda Cranes midfielder Shafik Kagimu is on the verge of completing a move to Europe in North Macedonia.

Kagimu will leave Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia for FK Rabotnicki, 10-time North Macedonian top-tier division winners.

Once the deal is complete, he will join his compatriot Halid Lwaliwa, who plies his trade with FK Bregalnica Stip.

The former Vipers SC captain left the St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende, in September 2022.

The midfielder won the KPL just four months after joining the Kenyan side from Rwandan outfit AS Kigali in the January transfer window.
